Autumn then raced in the Northern Lights Barrel Race on Saturday and Sunday. It is a futurity race and sale, where five or six barrel and ranch horse breeders sell colts and when the colt you purchase reaches five years of age, you return and race for a pot of money, that the breeders have paid into. Autumn bought a colt at this year’s sale.
