Scarecrow Days was held September 19 - 21 in Souris. The annual event included several barbecues, town wide yard sales, a flea market, farmer's market and more. Despite the rain, the new Pumpkin Capers organized by the Souris BPO Elks was a hit.
The fall baking contest had low participation but that doesn't mean the desserts weren't to die for. The organizers will do this again, only with more publicity.
