Volunteering is a fundamental act of citizenship

RBC believes that when employees and retirees volunteer, they play a vital role in helping build better communities. Since 1999, RBC has donated more than $33 million in celebration of employee and retiree volunteer efforts.  Contributing to their hometown is something that Souris RBC staff members are proud to do, sharing their expertise and resources and time for different projects in their community.

The Day of Service Grant allows them the opportunity to take that contribution to the next level.  Each RBC Day of Service Grant provides $1000.00 per RBC employee team project. The local staff has worked at a number of Souris and area events and they plan to continue to help wherever they can and with the Day of Service Grant they support local projects that are in need of funding.

This year to date they have volunteered at survivor, the gate at the fair, the fly in breakfast, they were out to Alexander to volunteer at the Fire Department BBQ and will be doing some painting in the Victoria Park.  Great job Souris RBC team!
